How far in advance should I book an Oahu luau?
Most luaus sell out 3 to 7 days ahead in peak season. If your dates are fixed, booking as soon as you know them gets you the better seats at the same price.
What does a luau usually include?
Almost every Oahu luau includes dinner, live Hawaiian music and hula, and an evening show that often closes with fire knife. Drinks, reserved seating and transportation vary by experience — each listing shows exactly what is included.
How long does a luau last?
Typically two to three hours, starting in the late afternoon so dinner lands around sunset.
Are luaus good for kids?
Yes. Family-focused luaus start earlier, include a keiki menu and keep the show interactive. Look for the Family Favorite category.
What should I wear?
Resort casual. Evenings are open air, so bring a light layer for after sunset, and expect grass or sand underfoot at beachfront venues.
Can I cancel?
Bookings can be cancelled free of charge up to 48 hours before your luau. Your confirmation email includes the cancellation link.
